I have a WRT-54G V5.0 and it and DDWRT go hand in hand! i love it personally cause it lets the router do TONS of things that the other firmware had blocked. The DD-WRT firmware worksbut I could not get anywhere near the speed expected. I just got it and i am spending hours on it and still cannot get the thing to update. I am really tempted to just flash it back to original stock firmware but it seems like going back is DD-WRT firmware build requirements.
